About The Position

Delivery leadership: Own end-to-end delivery for multiple concurrent data programs (Clinical MDM, multiple commercial data initiatives such as SCION programs) with strong delivery discipline. Mandatory knowledge of IQVIA’s deep data knowledge on Commercial data sets and Clinical and understanding of data landscape – upstream and downstream data dependencies to drive technical delivery of projects Technical leadership and architecture solutioning and guidance. Requirement management, technical and functional guidance across SQL, Snowflake, Python, PySpark, database management, data modeling and architecture, and Reltio MDM solutioning, code review and UAT support across data programs Review and approve data models, MDM design (survivorship, match/merge, hierarchy), ELT/ETL pipelines, and performance/scalability plans. AI-led delivery - Champion AI-assisted engineering and analytics (e.g., code acceleration, automated data quality checks, anomaly detection, MDM matching enhancements) with measurable value. Define guardrails, model evaluation criteria, and operationalization patterns for AI features in data pipelines and analytics solutions. Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and regulatory expectations relevant to clinical and commercial data projects Drive test strategy, data quality frameworks, and production readiness including deployment with approved performance SLAs. Stakeholder management: Manage dependencies between business and technology stakeholders; align product owners, SMEs, data stewards, and platform teams on requirement, priorities and acceptance criteria. Validate and present Status reports across programs to customers and internal stakeholders Establish and run program governance: cadence, RAID management, scope control, quality gates, and change

Requirements

  • Mandatory knowledge of IQVIA’s deep data knowledge on Commercial data sets and Clinical.
  • Understanding of data landscape – upstream and downstream data dependencies.
  • Experience with SQL, Snowflake, Python, PySpark, database management, data modeling and architecture.
  • Experience with Reltio MDM solutioning.

  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and regulatory expectations relevant to clinical and commercial data projects.
  • Experience driving test strategy, data quality frameworks, and production readiness.
  • Experience managing dependencies between business and technology stakeholders.
  • Experience aligning product owners, SMEs, data stewards, and platform teams on requirements, priorities, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience validating and presenting Status reports.
  • Experience establishing and running program governance: cadence, RAID management, scope control, quality gates, and change.
