As a Senior Verification & Validation Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and developing verification tests, building test frameworks and infrastructure, planning test strategies, and maintaining design history for Roche Sequencing products. Your contributions will directly impact the creation of advanced laboratory workflow software for non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT) and Oncology diagnostics. This role offers the chance to develop software products used by scientists and life science professionals in diagnosing diseases like cancer and enabling early prenatal diagnoses of genetic conditions. Requirements

Bachelor's in Science in Computer Science (or equivalent field); or a Master's in Computer Science or equivalent field
5+ years of experience in software development or software verification or validation
Demonstrated experience using Agile SW development and accompanying tools
Demonstrated experience authoring design history and software release documentation
Demonstrated experience working with global teams
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Familiarity with modern automated test technologies (Selenium, GitHub, etc.) across a variety of platforms
Familiarity with SQL and basic database operations

Responsibilities

Collaborate with a cross-functional team of lab personnel, assay developers, algorithm scientists, and technical leadership in developing clinical laboratory products.
Author and confirm the correctness of requirements-driven tests, encompassing testing approaches (exploratory, white box, black box, etc.), testing levels (end-to-end, system, integration, unit, etc.), and testing types (functional, performance, scalability, etc.).
Automate and execute front-end and back-end tests for instrument software and web applications.
Participate in reviews of requirements, architecture, and design specifications.
Collate and report quality metrics, and enhance quality dashboards.
Perform root cause analysis of defects for products under development and support on-market issue investigations.
Document design history in accordance with standard operating procedures and ensure regulatory compliance of verification and validation deliverables.
Partner with developers and other V&V personnel on engineering excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support audits by providing test evidence and documentation.
