Senior Software Test Engineer
About The Position
The Senior Software Test Engineer is responsible for driving software quality through the development and execution of robust test strategies, automation frameworks, and validation activities that ensure reliable, compliant, and high-performing software products. This position is an on site role, reporting to the Manager, Software Engineering, and is part of the Software Engineering - R&D organization located in Loveland, CO. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Own and execute test strategies for software products, including functional, integration, system, and regression testing Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines Partner cross-functionally with software development, hardware development, product management, and quality teams Lead defect identification, root cause analysis, and resolution using structured problem-solving approaches Drive continuous improvement of test processes and quality metrics
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in software testing or quality engineering
- Proficiency with test automation frameworks
- Programming experience in Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript
- Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
Nice To Haves
- Experience in regulated environments (FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 62304)
- Experience with cloud or microservices architectures
