About The Position

The Software Systems Engineer will support the architecture, modeling, and documentation of complex, cloud-enabled C4ISR and data-driven systems. This role bridges systems engineering and software engineering, ensuring that system requirements, architecture intent, and implementation remain aligned as products evolve. The Senior Software Systems Engineer will apply model-based systems engineering (MBSE) practices using SysML and Cameo, while also maintaining clear and actionable technical documentation in wiki-based and diagram-based formats. The role requires close collaboration with software developers, DevOps engineers, product managers, and program leadership. This role will directly support one of Trident’s key programs to ensure the development and documentation is accurate and maintained at a high level as well as participate in engineering, requirements, and architecture discussions for future capabilities
