Raytheon - Advance Products Solution (APS) is seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer to support a program area within the Global ISR Sensors & Software business unit. This position will be located ONSITE at our Westford, MA facility, relocation assistance is not available for this role.

Requirements

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
Experience with systems integration and test for software products in an Agile environment, including regression testing, test scripting, and/or test automation.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

Experience preparing and conducting audits with customers.
Experience working in CI/CD environment.
Experience with programming languages such as Java, C++, Python.
Experience participating in code reviews.
Knowledge of hardware-software integration in real-time embedded systems.
Familiarity with Docker and virtualized environments.
Familiarity with Git, Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Crucible, Coverity.
Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments.
Experience working with ISO9000/AS9100.

Responsibilities

Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure security, quality, and operational practices are consistently applied.
Integrate and validate software in an Agile development environment.
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.
Ensure adherence to Raytheon development processes, security requirements, and industry best practices.
Participate in program team meetings, peer reviews, technical reviews, and formal reviews
Write and review formal test plans and test reports for software verification.
