About The Position

CSlope is seeking a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer/Tester to lead testing and quality assurance for GIS-RP software tools, ArcGIS Pro automation, web maps, dashboards, data-validation capabilities, and supporting analytical applications. The successful candidate will develop and execute software test plans, identify defects and root causes, conduct regression testing, verify data and business-rule behavior, and support controlled software releases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical, engineering, computer science, GIS, information systems, or related field.
  • Ability to obtain a CAC at date of award.
  • Demonstrated understanding of DoD and Army Real Property and IGI&S policy and guidance.
  • Knowledge of current DCS G-4 IGI&S QAPs.
  • Knowledge of the SDSFIE Army Adaptation.
  • Working knowledge of Esri ArcGIS.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing software test plans.
  • Demonstrated experience identifying software problems and determining their causes.
  • Experience performing QA/testing for technically complex or high-impact systems.
  • Ability to function as a technical QA expert across multiple concurrent assignments.
  • Demonstrated experience documenting defects, test results, and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop test strategies, test plans, test cases, scripts, and acceptance criteria.
  • Test ArcGIS Pro tools, GIS automation, web applications, dashboards, and data-processing workflows.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, data, boundary-condition, and exception testing.
  • Validate automated business-rule checks and data-correction logic.
  • Identify, document, reproduce, prioritize, and track software defects.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and support corrective/preventive action.
  • Retest corrected functionality and document objective evidence of successful resolution.
  • Support release readiness, configuration control, version management, and rollback planning.
  • Maintain test records supporting Team CSlope's Quality Control Plan and Government acceptance.
  • Coordinate directly with GIS developers, analysts, user-support personnel, and the Project Manager.
