  • Demonstrated track record of growing existing products through innovation.
  • Experience scoping, shipping, and scaling AI/ML-powered capabilities in B2B software.
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile delivery, Design Thinking, and Lean Startup methodologies.
  • Excellent customer discovery skills.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills across technical and executive audiences.

  • Fault Detection and Classification (FDC) experience.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and data ecosystems such as SEMI standards, SECS/GEM, EDA (Interface A), MES integration, and time-series sensor data at scale.
  • Experience launching products that combine on-premise, edge, and cloud deployment models in regulated or high-availability environments.
  • Advanced degree or MBA.

Responsibilities

  • Own the vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap for semiconductor FDC software products.
  • Drive product growth through innovative, AI/ML-enabled capabilities.
  • Define and track product KPIs related to customer outcomes (yield, uptime, time-to-detection, time-to-root-cause) and business outcomes (ARR, expansion, retention).
  • Conduct customer discovery with process engineers, equipment engineers, integration engineers, and fab IT to understand workflows, pain points, and unmet needs.
  • Apply Design Thinking to frame problems from the customer's perspective.
  • Utilize Lean Startup methods (hypotheses, MVPs, validated learning) to de-risk product bets.
  • Champion an AI-first approach, identifying where AI/ML can improve detection, classification, prediction, and decision support.
  • Partner with data science and engineering to scope ML use cases, define data requirements, and design for explainability, trust, and operator adoption.
  • Make build/buy/partner decisions for the AI stack.
  • Work with sensor hardware and instrumentation teams to leverage signal quality, sampling, and metadata.
  • Influence sensor product roadmaps based on software requirements (data fidelity, latency, edge processing, protocols).
  • Translate hardware capabilities into compelling software value propositions.
  • Act as the product owner within Agile teams, maintaining a prioritized backlog and clear acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with engineering, UX, QA, and DevOps for high-quality releases.
  • Balance discovery and delivery to maintain team velocity and validate future product direction.
