This role requires a Senior Software Engineer who is fully competent in their area and has a deep understanding of related programming concepts, software design, and software development principles. The engineer will work autonomously with minimal supervision, acting as a key contributor in a complex environment and potentially leading the activities of a team for software design and development. The role involves proactively understanding client needs, offering advice, assessing and adapting to project issues, formulating innovative solutions, working under pressure, and driving the team to succeed against technical and commercial goals. Awareness of profitability needs and cost management for specific projects or work areas is also expected. The engineer will be responsible for explaining difficult concepts to various audiences and motivating other team members, creating informal networks with key contacts outside their own area.
