About The Position
Peraton’s Space & Intelligence Sector is looking for a senior Software Engineer to join their diverse team at their Herndon, VA, office. The candidate will work within a cross-functional Agile Scrum Team primarily focusing on building and maintaining systems running in a containerized environment. This position is 100% on-site.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience considered in lieu of a degree requirement
- 4+ years of experience with Unix/Linux
- 2+ years of experience with software architecture/design
- 2+ years of experience with Java
- 2+ years of experience with Python
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with Shell Script
- Experience developing an application that runs in a containerized environment
- Ability to lead a team of 3-5 engineers
- TS/SCI with current CI poly
Nice To Haves
- 2 years of experience with JavaScript
- Security+ or equivalent certification and willingness to serve as a privileged user supporting deployed systems testing
- Familiarity with NiFi
- Experience with cross-domain systems
