About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong emphasis on Seller Center frontend development, combined with deep backend expertise in Java-based distributed systems. This role is critical to building and scaling Seller Center UI experiences, while ensuring tight integration with backend services powering Item Setup, Bulk Workflows, and Marketplace platform capabilities. Immigration Sponsorship support will NOT be available for this position.

Requirements

Strong full‑stack experience with deep expertise in frontend development and UI systems.
Advanced proficiency with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, including modern UI architecture, component design, and state management.
Proven experience building large‑scale, high‑performance enterprise web applications (Seller Center or similar platforms).
Solid backend experience with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices architectures.
Experience with distributed systems, API orchestration, and service‑to‑service integrations.
Hands‑on experience with Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) patterns.
Strong system design skills (HLD/LLD) with a performance and scalability mindset.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and production support.
Strong debugging skills across UI, API, and backend layers.
Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and influence technical direction.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
OR 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with event‑driven systems and asynchronous processing.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area.
Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
Knowledge of accessibility best practices and joining us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end feature development with a primary focus on Seller Center frontend (UI) and supporting backend services.
Design, build, and scale high‑performance, seller‑facing UI experiences for complex workflows.
Develop and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
Drive system design (HLD/LLD) across UI, Backend-for-Frontend (BFF), and microservices layers.
Lead cross‑service integrations across Seller Center, Partner APIs, Catalog, and Marketplace platform services.
Implement and evolve BFF patterns to enable efficient, scalable UI interactions.
Optimize frontend performance (load time, rendering, API orchestration) and backend scalability.
Ensure observability, reliability, and production readiness across the full stack.
Mentor engineers and promote strong technical and engineering best practices.
