About The Position

Okta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Identity Security Insights team. This team is responsible for modernizing how Auth0 empowers customers to access and understand their Auth0 data, and improving how they monitor and address security concerns. The role involves designing secure, performant, cross-platform browser-based features, collaborating within the team to solve challenges, and working closely with Product and Design to optimize user experience. The engineer will build and maintain features across the full technical stack, debug and resolve production issues, participate in on-call rotations, and evaluate new technologies. Requirements

Have a passion for learning.

Are comfortable writing and operating full-stack applications.
Are familiar with Node.js and RESTful APIs.
Have a good understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript.

Have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Enjoy being part of a highly collaborative, remote-friendly environment.
Have at least 5 years of software development experience.
Familiarity with AI agent frameworks, orchestration tools, or the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

Have experience working in distributed teams and work environments.
Have experience working with React and Styled Components.
Have experience working with data driven applications.
Exposure to agentic application patterns: tool use, multi-step workflows, agent-to-agent communication.

Responsibilities
