About The Position

Press Ganey is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a Full Stack focus, emphasizing Frontend and Mobile development. This role involves designing, implementing, and enhancing software applications using modern development tools and methodologies. The engineer will participate in planning, adhere to design and testing principles, and work with technical specifications. They will also be responsible for documentation, preparing work for deployment, participating in peer reviews, troubleshooting issues, and completing assigned tasks within allotted timeframes. Additionally, the role includes mentoring other software developers, ensuring the quality of their work, coordinating with other IT and business teams, and training developers on standards and procedures. The engineer will also support software applications by coordinating issue resolution and providing follow-up for issues.

Requirements

  • Strong development experience in C# .NET Core 10+
  • Web and mobile responsive front-end technologies including Angular/React, JavaScript and CSS
  • Experience in JSON and API development methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, specifically with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with test driven development
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in an agile environment
  • Thorough understanding of data structures and object-oriented techniques
  • Knowledge of basic statistics
  • Project task multi-tasking and prioritization, Individual time management
  • Bachelor’s Degree or comparable broad-based work experience is required.
  • 5+ years experience with mobile responsive development in Angular and React
  • Code reviews and code review participation
  • Ability to lead all aspects of SDLC for small and medium projects with up to 3 contributors
  • Ability to communicate best practice solutions to other developers
  • Ability to present technical ideas and work with development teams to identify best practice solutions

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in containerization (dockers/Kubernetes) preferred
  • Experience in CI/CD preferred
  • GitLab experience highly desirable
  • Advance training or certification in software design/development is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement software front end application enhancements and bug fixes given general instructions
