About The Position

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location. The role involves developing, testing, and debugging new software or enhancements to existing software. The engineer will need a good understanding of business applications, as well as user, performance, quality, interface, and security requirements. This position requires working with technical staff to understand and resolve software problems, addressing customer complaints, and responding to suggestions for improvements. Responsibilities may include assisting in the development of software user manuals, desktop design, testing, security lockdown implementation, integration with standard software packages, integration with automated patching and deployment technologies, documentation, and training, including automating application and configuration deployments and updates.

Responsibilities

Develops codes, tests, and debugs new software or enhancements to existing software.
Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them.
