About The Position

V2X is seeking a collaborative and highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team. The Senior Software Engineer will be part of a multi-discipline Agile/DevSecOps Development team in Indianapolis, IN, supporting our NSI program. This role involves using and providing creative software solutions to complex technical, system, and integration problems using modern Agile/DevSecOps processes and tools. The team, comprising Software, Systems, and Cyber Engineers, collaborates closely to design ideal solutions with end-user and operational needs in mind. The NSI product development environment utilizes modern development techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Automated Functional Testing, and Paired Programming. The ideal candidate will have experience developing in C++, Java, or Python, possess strong communication and teaming skills, and embrace modern development processes that enhance code quality and productivity. Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years related experience in Software Development.
• Experience with one or more: C++, Java, and Python programming languages.
• Familiarity with Object Oriented Analysis (OOA) and Object-Oriented Design (OOD).
• Linux operating system concepts.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps Software Development process environments.
• Strong communication and teaming skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time to support customer meetings, demonstrations and integration/installation/interop testing events.
• Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret level clearance.
• Be able to reside in the Indianapolis area to support lab testing and other team events.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity of Networks (TCP/IP, UDP, VLANs, Wi-Fi, Firewalls, etc.).
• Familiarity with Virtual Machine Environments and containers.
• Familiarity of one or more Agile techniques (LeSS, Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, SAFe, eXtreme Programming, etc.).
• Knowledge of Secure Coding techniques.
• Familiarity with Automated Testing and Automated Test Framework.
• Current/active DoD Secret level or higher clearance.

• Development, integration, test, and documentation of software for NSI products.
• Integration and testing in a state-of-the-art lab.
• Working in an agile environment and cross-functionally.
• Developing software, tailoring reusable software, and integrating software components on virtual machines and target hardware.
• Contributing to maturing and improving processes and products.
• Adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Configuration management of all code.
