Requirements

Effective Communications: Advanced understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Software Development: Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of software development tools and activities; ability to produce software products or systems in line with product requirements.
Software Product Technical Knowledge: Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of technical aspects of a software products; ability to design, configure and integrate technical aspects of software products.

Nice To Haves

5+ years of experience with Caterpillar’s simulation and Autonomy programs
2+ years of experience with Agile teams
5+ years of experience hands on coding in coding languages such as C++, Python, or Java
Proven results leading large scale project implementations
Experience delivering software using cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with Nvidia simulation technology such as Omniverse, IsaacSim, etc

Responsibilities

Provide engineering leadership for designing, modifying, developing, writing and implementing software solutions for a simulation platform using agile methods.
Acquiring business requirements and translating requirements into technical deliverables.
Developing and managing the simulation platform development roadmap with leadership.
Selection of technology and software development methods.
This position will help in building best practices and establishing the organization.
They will aid in creating a structure for software development, testing and release.
Evaluation and integration planning for existing simulation technologies.
