About The Position

The Vision Products Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop next-generation interactive experiences for Apple Vision Pro. The role works with technologies including spatial computing, mixed reality, ARKit, and RealityKit, and contributes to system-level frameworks, real-time rendering techniques, and agentic tools for creative experiences. The engineer will collaborate closely with creative teams across Apple and VPG in a dynamic environment, helping assess the viability of new ideas and technologies and building tools that support creative workflows. The role calls for strong software engineering fundamentals, curiosity, and the ability to work across the software stack and quickly learn new domains.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant industry experience.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent degree or experience.
• Experience delivering high-quality software to end users.
• Programming skills and knowledge of Swift.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Hands-on experience using agentic systems to accelerate development.
• Experience building creative tools, such as DCC plug-ins, game editors, or authoring pipelines.
• Experience applying generative models to creative workflows.
• Experience working with artists, designers, or technical artists.
• Proficiency creating AR/VR experiences.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and ability to work across the software stack and quickly learn new domains.

Responsibilities

• Develop software and tools for next-generation interactive experiences on Apple Vision Pro.
• Contribute to system-level frameworks, real-time rendering techniques, and agentic tools for creative workflows.
• Evaluate the viability of ideas and technologies through rapid, effective engineering.
