Learn about our company culture directly from our team. YOU As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in modernizing and evolving our software platform. You will design and develop cloud-based APIs and services that support next-generation engineering and design applications for the building industry. We are actively investing in the transformation of our software platform from traditional desktop applications toward modern cloud-based services and APIs hosted in Microsoft Azure. This role offers the opportunity to influence technical direction, mentor team members, and grow into a Technical Lead position as our platform modernization efforts expand.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
7+ years of professional software development experience
Strong proficiency in C# and .NET (ASP.NET Core)
Experience building RESTful APIs and distributed services
Experience designing scalable client-server or cloud-native applications
Experience with relational databases and data modeling (T-SQL / Azure SQL)
Experience implementing automated testing strategies (unit, integration)
Experience with Git-based source control workflows
Experience working in Agile / Scrum software development environments
Strong system design, debugging, and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to mentor or guide other engineers

Microservice and service-oriented architecture design patterns
Event-driven systems and messaging patterns (Azure Service Bus / Event Grid)

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support scalable cloud-native services and APIs using C# and ASP.NET Core.
Collaborate with architects and engineers to modernize existing desktop application functionality into service-oriented and cloud-hosted solutions.
Design and implement secure, observable, and resilient distributed systems leveraging Azure cloud technologies.
Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and architecture reviews while promoting engineering best practices.
Develop automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes to improve software quality and delivery velocity.
Participate in Agile planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards and development practices.
