Senior Software Engineer
About The Position
At Intelliforce, we build mission software that helps operators and developers move faster in environments where the work is complex and the stakes are real. In this role, you will support CNO development across multiple teams by designing, building, and integrating tools that improve how mission software gets developed, tested, and delivered. You will work closely with stakeholders and engineers to create new workflows enhanced by AI and ML technologies, helping solve real reverse engineering and development challenges in the field. This role gives you the chance to shape how development happens across the mission. You will lead projects from concept through deployment, work directly with mission stakeholders, and help teams turn difficult operational problems into practical technical solutions. The work blends software engineering, workflow design, AI and ML integration, and close collaboration across the CNO developer space, so your impact is visible in both the tools you build and the teams you enable. Requirements
- Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, must be active. We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances
- Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas
- 12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
- Four additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in place of a Bachelor’s degree
- Production-grade software development experience in Python
- Experience in the CNO developer domain building tools for operational use
- Experience with development of AI systems and customization of AI models
- Practical experience with platforms for processing Agency data sets
- Experience with software source control, including Git
- Experience with Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence
- Experience interacting with stakeholders to gather requirements
- Knowledge of Python or similar scripting languages
Nice To Haves
- Experience leading a development team
- Practical experience in one or more artificial intelligence domains such as intelligent systems, autonomy, planning, LLMs, or LLM training
- Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems
- Experience with production CNO capabilities and operations
- Familiarity with cloud computing technologies such as AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experience with web application or UI development
Responsibilities
- Lead projects from inception to delivery in the CNO domain, including problem decomposition, design, development, deployment, and maintenance
- Work directly with mission stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions
- Design, develop, and integrate tools that support CNO development activities across multiple teams
- Collaborate with software engineers to test workflows, identify issues, and recommend clear paths to resolution
- Partner with stakeholders to understand and solve real-world reverse engineering challenges
- Apply AI and ML technologies to improve workflows and create smarter development solutions
- Help guide technical direction across complex efforts and work through obstacles as they arise
