About The Position

Erias Ventures is seeking a DevOps Software Engineer responsible for a team designing, developing, and maintaining a comprehensive distributed Metrics and Monitoring solution for HPC systems. The goal is to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of HPC infrastructure. The company values creative problem-solving, open communication, and empowering employees. Requirements

  • A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance (within 7 years).
  • Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity; OR Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity; OR nine (9) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux Tools.
  • Experience developing Bash scripts to automate manual processes.
  • Recent software development experience using Rust and Python.
  • Experience using Splunk for data collection, message brokers, data storage, and presentation tools.
  • Experience interfacing with Log Management tools including Syslog-ng and rsyslog.
  • Experience with Message Brokers including Kafka.
  • Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools including Ansible.
  • Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI.
  • Experience with Git Source Control System.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence).
