About The Position

As a Software Engineer - Senior Level at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse software systems. This includes areas such as processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems, all based upon documented requirements. You will contribute to cutting-edge development programs, design new solutions, and innovate RF signal processing applications. Additionally, you will develop analytics, visualization, and discovery tools, integrate new and legacy software across various hardware form factors, and review and test software components for adherence to design requirements. You will also resolve software problem reports and provide specific input to software components of system design, including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, the use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
• Demonstrated experience with RF signal processing applications
• Proficiency working in Linux development environments
• Proficiency coding in Python, C++, Java, or JavaScript
• Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar project management tools
• Experience with GitLab, GitHub, or similar version control tools

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Software-Defined Radio (SDR) programming
• Experience with geospatial processing
• Experience coding 2D and 3D image displays

Responsibilities

• Developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements
• Contributing to cutting edge development programs and designing new solutions
