Job Title Senior Software Engineer What does a successful Sr. Software Engineer within Clover do? At Clover, a Fiserv company, we are dedicated to transforming financial services technology to benefit our clients. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software development
- 8+ years of experience in Java, Spring
- 5+ years of experience in Micro Service design and implementation.
- 5+ years of experience REST api design
- 5+ years of experience in handling the large scale Distributed system
- 4+ years of experience in SQL databases, involving design of tables, optimizing queries
- 3+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP services
- 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- 3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies
- 8+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the financial services industry
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Clover's business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability across the payments space
- Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.
