About The Position

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead complex projects. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions, mentor junior developers, and contribute to the overall architecture and strategic direction of our technology stack.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 3 years of experience.
Excellent understanding of front-end technologies and platforms - JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and ability to learn internal Blain software.
JavaScript frameworks React JS & Redux, Angular, or Vue, C#, ASP.NET MVC, Microsoft SQL Server, Git, Xamarin.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Boomi is a plus.

Responsibilities

Serve as the Technical Lead contributing to and directing the efforts of the development team. (Daily)
Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the existing content supply portfolio of applications and services. (Weekly)
Design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components anywhere in the software stack. (Daily)
Lead the design and development of high-performance APIs that enable efficient communication between internal systems and external services. (Daily)
Determine root cause for the most complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and scalable technical solutions. (Weekly)
Remain current on new technologies and available vendor packages. (Monthly)
Assist in task planning, estimation, scheduling. (Bi-weekly)
Mentor junior software developers for skill/knowledge development (Monthly)
Determine process improvements, best practices, and develop new processes. (Monthly)
Work in close partnerships with cross-functional teams and management (Weekly)
Ability to read and speak English and communicate with customers and coworkers.
Ability to learn and perform all primary job functions within the adjustment period
Ability to function as a team member and work under specific work directions.
