About The Position

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead complex projects. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions, mentor junior developers, and contribute to the overall architecture and strategic direction of our technology stack.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 3 years of experience.
  • Excellent understanding of front-end technologies and platforms - JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and ability to learn internal Blain software.
  • JavaScript frameworks React JS & Redux, Angular, or Vue, C#, ASP.NET MVC, Microsoft SQL Server, Git, Xamarin.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Boomi is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Technical Lead contributing to and directing the efforts of the development team. (Daily)
  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the existing content supply portfolio of applications and services. (Weekly)
  • Design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components anywhere in the software stack. (Daily)
  • Lead the design and development of high-performance APIs that enable efficient communication between internal systems and external services. (Daily)
  • Determine root cause for the most complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and scalable technical solutions. (Weekly)
  • Remain current on new technologies and available vendor packages. (Monthly)
  • Assist in task planning, estimation, scheduling. (Bi-weekly)
  • Mentor junior software developers for skill/knowledge development (Monthly)
  • Determine process improvements, best practices, and develop new processes. (Monthly)
  • Work in close partnerships with cross-functional teams and management (Weekly)
  • Ability to read and speak English and communicate with customers and coworkers.
  • Ability to learn and perform all primary job functions within the adjustment period
  • Ability to function as a team member and work under specific work directions.
