About The Position

PointOne is reinventing how law firms operate by building infrastructure for the legal industry, powering timekeeping and billing systems used by law firms and government agencies. Their AI timekeeper helps attorneys capture billable time automatically and provides rich insights that transform how legal work is managed. They are a Tier 1 venture-backed startup (Y Combinator, Bessemer, 8VC, General Catalyst) composed of engineers from top tech companies and former attorneys. They are expanding their Go-To-Market team due to rapid customer adoption and a recent Series A funding round.

Requirements

5+ years of experience at hyper-growth startups and/or leading big tech companies
A CS degree from a top university
Strong product sense
High degree of ownership and the ability to operate autonomously

Responsibilities

Develop novel AI products, providing customers with entirely new workflows.
Work directly with customers to understand needs, prioritize requests, and translate them into technical solutions.
Prototype and integrate AI pipelines (e.g., retrieval-augmented generation) to prove out new workflows.
Lead by example through mentoring future hires, pairing, and code reviews.
Shape the engineering culture.
Own and ship products.
Talk to customers throughout the day over Teams, video and phone calls.
Listen to customer needs and develop a plan based on the highest priority items.
Ship code to execute on the plan.
