About The Position

Kharon is seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer based in New York City. This role requires in-office attendance at least 3 days a week. As the Tech Lead for our Growth team, you will be the architectural backbone of our internal data ecosystem. You will lead the design and implementation of new applications and data pipelines. This is a "player-coach" role requiring a full-stack mindset and deep expertise in data architecture. You will work alongside a Director of Data Analytics, QA/BA, and Director of Product teammates and work cross functionally with Marketing, RevOps, Sales, and Client Services to produce comprehensive and accessible insights on our business.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in a technical leadership or "Lead" capacity and some intersection with internal business processes.
  • Strong coding skills in Python or Java, with deep experience in modern web frameworks and cloud-native architectures (AWS preferred).
  • Expert-level knowledge of SQL and relational database design. Experience with data warehousing (Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery) and "Medallion" architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers).
  • Proven track record of interacting with and developing against 3rd party APIs, particularly Salesforce.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD automation to ensure high availability and low latency.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements from Marketing, Sales, and Client Services into technical roadmaps.
  • Familiarity with LLM integrations or vector databases to enhance internal BI search capabilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Graph Databases (Neo4j, Neptune) for mapping complex client relationships.
  • Interests or experience in Geopolitics, Sanction Compliance, or Financial Risk.
  • Experience with SaaS CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot), RevOps tooling, and marketing automation ecosystems.

Responsibilities

  • Support of our internal business intelligence applications. Own the architecture to ensure services are modular, scalable, and performant (utilizing React/Vue for frontend and Python/Java for backend).
  • Design and execute complex data migrations and integrations.
  • Build and optimize resilient ETL pipelines (e.g., using AWS Glue, Airflow, or DBT) to ingest data into our warehouse/data lake. Implement robust schema designs for relational and potentially graph databases.
  • Provide technical leadership for our user and customer administration, ensuring secure, scalable, and intuitive management of internal and external user access.
  • Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and establish standards for API design (REST/GraphQL), documentation, and automated testing (SDLC optimization).

Benefits

  • Fully sponsored medical, dental, and vision insurances
  • FSA program for both medical and dependent care
  • Long term disability
  • 401k + Roth with matching and immediate vesting
  • Flexible paid time off + 11 paid holidays
