About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to take ownership of significant product areas, guiding them from initial concept through to final implementation. This role requires an AI-native work style, where leveraging AI tools is a fundamental aspect of the job, not an optional extra. The position involves a balanced focus on both frontend development using React and TypeScript, and backend development using Python. The company operates with a hybrid work model in its San Francisco and New York offices, requiring three days per week in the office.

Requirements

  • AI-native work style is a requirement.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript for frontend React development.
  • Strong Python skills for backend development.
  • Familiarity with SQL and Postgres.
  • Customer-centric mindset with strong empathy for creators.
  • Experience working in small, fast-paced startups.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and enjoy scoping solutions with teammates.
  • A proactive approach, a love for learning, and a bias toward action.
  • Experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., Cursor, Copilot) in production delivery.
  • Comfort using LLMs for planning, spec-writing, debugging, and code review.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Firebase.
  • Familiarity with Flask.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and own large parts of the product, from ideation to implementation.
  • Utilize AI tools as a default starting point for coding, debugging, and planning.
  • Build and iterate on AI-powered creator tools, collaborating with AI PMs and ML engineers.
  • Develop a point of view on the capabilities and limitations of AI in product development.
  • Build products that achieve millions of page views daily and scale to billions.
  • Lead frontend development, focusing on creating delightful UI/UX.
  • Design and implement systems, understanding how all components interact.
