We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to primarily focus on back-end development, contributing to the maintenance and new feature development of our advertising technology platform. You will work closely with a team of experienced engineers and participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle to drive innovative solutions. This is a full-time role and will work a hybrid schedule based in Lehi, Utah.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on back-end development
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails; experience with Python, Go, ReactJS, or Java is a plus
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and strong proficiency in SQL
• Proven ability to contribute to development projects and work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance software development processes and improve code quality
• Strong engineering fundamentals, adaptability, and a desire to learn

Responsibilities

• Primarily engage in back-end development with potential for some front-end development
• Contribute to both maintenance (30-40%) and new feature development (60-70%)
• Participate in two-week sprints using ClickUp for project management
• Collaborate with product managers on sprint planning and contribute to technical and product roadmaps
• Have opportunities to learn and work with new technologies to solve complex ecommerce challenges
