Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND Three (3) years of software development experience, preferably using the Java programming language.
  • OR High School Diploma/GED from AND Five (5) years of software development experience, preferably using the Java and/or Python programming languages.
  • 1 year of experience developing cloud-hosted applications, preferably in AWS.
  • 1 year of software development experience using the Python programming language.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related from an accredited institution.
  • Experience with medical coding systems such as ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, etc.
  • Experience with data science development using tools such as Pandas, MLFlow or PyTorch.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with team members, product owners and other stakeholders to build world class medical coding software
  • Implementing business requirements to enhance a cloud hosted medical coding data pipeline
  • Working with data scientists to prepare and test machine learning models for medical code prediction and assess medical chart readiness
  • Working with stakeholders to debug, develop and improve the data pipeline
  • Complying with corporate policies, procedures and security standards while performing assigned duties.
