Senior Software Engineer
About The Position

They develop AI agents that handle millions of live, end-to-end interactions for Fortune 500 banks and insurers. With volume 3x-ing monthly, they are solving high-scale problems most startups never encounter: real-time voice AI, legacy banking integration, and complex US regulatory frameworks. Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- You’ve previously worked at a Series A (or similar) startup and navigated the chaos of hypergrowth.
- Strong backend fundamentals with the ability to own features end-to-end (design to production).
- Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python.
- Experience refactoring legacy infrastructure into sustainable, scalable architectures.
Nice To Haves
- Voice/Telephony: SIP, SRTP, WebRTC, or platforms like Telnyx, Twilio, and LiveKit.
- High-throughput distributed systems (1M+ daily transactions), PostgreSQL optimization, or Kubernetes.
- Real-time pipelines (ClickHouse, Kafka) or AWS infrastructure (SQS, containers).
- Compliance-conscious environments (SOC 2, ISO 27001, Fintech).
- Production integrations with LLMs and voice AI.
Responsibilities
- Designing the layer that coordinates complex, real-time voice AI systems.
- Engineering low-level performance wins and scaling infrastructure to handle millions of interactions.
- Building "bank-grade" security frameworks for the world’s most demanding financial institutions.
- Working at the application layer to ship high-leverage features that users love.
