Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive post baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a software engineering-related occupation.
  • Health care administration systems such as TriZetto Facets, or Edifecs.
  • HIPPA EDI transactions - 837 or 835.
  • Database tools such as Oracle SQL developer.
  • Databases such as Oracle SQL, MS SQL Server, or MS Access.
  • Software development lifecycle and software testing lifecycle.
  • System Integration testing, Regression testing, Database testing, or Blackbox testing.
  • Agile and Waterfall testing methodologies.
  • Testing tools such as Tidal application for batches, HP ALM, Rational Test Manager, Rational Quality Manager, Bugzilla, Notepad ++, Ultra edit, WinSCP, or Putty.
  • Defect tracking tools such as Clear Quest or JIRA.

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
  • Design, develop, and modify highly specialized computer applications to drive user efficiency and overall business success.
  • Ensure applications meet demanding standards for privacy and security as required by strict internal policies and industry-specific regulations.
  • Design, build, test and adapt solutions that optimize environment and meet evolving needs of customers and business, leveraging and anticipating modern technologies such as AI/ML, to support the transition to fullstack proficiency.
  • Support continuous integration and delivery environment (CICD).
  • Focus on customer and desired business outcomes in the design and build of solutions.
  • Consider security, scalability, reliability & feasibility in solution design.
  • Consider integrations and impacts on other systems in deployment of solutions.
  • Continually seek out opportunities to automate solutions.
  • Write, debug, test and deploy code to create working solutions.
