Senior Software Engineer
About The Position
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and work across our marketplace businesses: Italist, HEWI, and DOZR. This role involves end-to-end feature ownership, from initial conversations with stakeholders to building, testing, deploying, and validating features in production. You will be responsible for the outcome of your work, not just the code itself. The role is full-time and remote-first, allowing you to work from anywhere in the world. You will engage in full-stack development using JavaScript (React on the frontend, Node on the backend) for various applications including customer-facing features, internal tools, third-party integrations, and data pipelines. A key aspect of this role is working across different businesses and domains, requiring the ability to context-switch and apply learned patterns. Additionally, you will utilize AI copilot tools like Claude Code for enhanced productivity and rigor in development, including parallelizing work, generating and reviewing code, writing tests, and automating repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities
- End-to-End Feature Ownership: Take features from initial conversation to production, including scoping with stakeholders, building, testing, shipping, and validating their impact.
- Full-Stack Development: Build features across the stack using JavaScript (React frontend, Node backend) for customer-facing storefronts, internal admin tools, third-party integrations, and data pipelines.
- Working Across Businesses: Context-switch between different businesses (fashion marketplaces, affiliate marketing platforms, B2B technology solutions) and domains, carrying patterns across them.
- AI-Native Engineering: Utilize AI copilot tools for development tasks such as parallelizing work, generating and reviewing code, writing tests, and automating repetitive processes.
