The Senior Software Engineer will influence outcomes, guide transformation, and shape the evolution of the team and organization. This position requires leveraging experience and success in coaching and transforming technical teams to adopt a modern execution model. The ideal candidate embraces change and innovation, possesses strong Agile delivery principles, and has robust technical skills to drive solutions and architecture. This role demands full-stack proficiency across key modern languages, with the expectation of deep involvement in all aspects of the code.

Requirements

A minimum of 5-7 years of experience engineering solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
4+ years of demonstrated experience leading modernized development teams at an enterprise level.
Highly proficient in Full Stack development (React, Java script, Python, Java, Angular).
Experience with AWS.
Experience with Modern Tools: Jenkins, Cucumber, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Bitbucket), Git.
Experience with DBs: PostgreSQL, Mongo.
Experience with Cloud: AWS/OCP.
Experience with Other: EKS, Docker, OpenShift.
Technical knowledge of communication channels, deliverability, and compliance.

Responsibilities

Mentor the team, driving full and accurate adoption of modern software engineering and delivery practices (Real Agile, TDD, ATDD, Stateless Design, Microservices, Containerization, etc.).
Analyze system architecture and contribute to design planning.
Collaborate with business leaders in marketing, HR, legal, and compliance teams.
Manage dependencies with vendors or internal engineering teams for software delivery.
