Senior Software Engineer

Agave•San Francisco, CA
•$220,000 - $285,000•Hybrid

About The Position

Agave is experiencing significant growth after a $15M Series A funding round, bringing their total funding to over $20M. They are seeking a highly skilled senior full-stack/backend engineer to develop AI and agent products leveraging their extensive data. The role involves simplifying complex systems and optimizing them for large-scale performance. Agave is building a financial operations platform for the construction industry, a sector historically underserved by modern software. With over 550 customers and backing from prominent investors and industry leaders, Agave has established a strong market position. The company's unique advantage lies in its foundational data layers, providing deep access to customer financial and project data across disparate systems. The engineering team is small, collaborative, and focused on building the next wave of AI-powered products. This is an opportunity to join an early-stage company with a de-risked product, significant market validation, and a clear path to becoming a category-defining entity. The team is technical, diverse, and ambitious, offering opportunities for substantial impact and learning. Agave operates in a massive, yet overlooked, market, giving them a significant competitive advantage. The company is experiencing accelerating momentum, particularly with its AI products and channel partnerships.
