Requirements

5+ years of progressive commercial software development experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong understanding of software design principles, algorithms, and data structures
Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., C++, C#, Python, JavaScript)
Experience with web technologies including HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Vue.js, .NET Core, or Node.js
Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English

Responsibilities

Design, plan, implement, test, document, and deliver high-quality software applications and systems
Ensure solutions meet standards for quality, testability, maintainability, scalability, and security
Advocate for and contribute to robust test automation capabilities
Perform code maintenance and manage technical debt while optimizing the developer experience
Troubleshoot and resolve complex defects, including issues beyond your immediate area of expertise
Serve as a subject matter expert across product features, technologies, or systems
Collaborate with senior technical leaders on design and architecture
Share knowledge through documentation, tech talks, and team learning sessions
Mentor junior team members and support their growth
Maintain high-quality production software through ongoing support
Participate in on-call rotations as needed
Lead investigations into incidents and defects, including root cause analysis and follow-up actions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects successfully
Plan and manage backlogs for medium to large features or projects
Enable incremental, iterative delivery with predictable velocity
Manage risks and competing priorities through proactive communication
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align on goals, priorities, and risks
Provide thoughtful, thorough, and timely code reviews
Maintain a strong commitment to continuous learning and skill development
