Senior Software Engineer, Full-Stack & Frontend
About The Position
MultiTech is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own the user experience and customer-facing workflows of mCloud. The role focuses on building performant, intuitive dashboards that help enterprise users visualize fleet topologies, manage sub-organizations, and troubleshoot sensor alerts. The engineer will work closely with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering to turn complex business requirements into usable experiences and improve reliability, observability, and operational efficiency. The position uses modern frontend technologies and AI-assisted development tools alongside backend services, cloud technologies, containerization, and CI/CD practices. The role is based at MultiTech’s Mounds View location; the posting describes normal office conditions and also outlines conditions and safety requirements in the Minnesota facility’s manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong emphasis on scalable frontend architectures.
- Proficiency using AI-assisted coworker tools to accelerate frontend development and improve engineering productivity, code quality, testing, and development velocity; Claude is preferred.
- Mastery of React, GraphQL, Redux, Vite, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Solid mastery of testing frameworks, including Playwright, Jest, Vitet, and Cypress.
- Expertise in .NET / ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, REST APIs, gRPC, and GraphQL.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure technologies, specifically Azure App Service, Azure AD B2C / Microsoft Entra ID, Azure SQL, and Azure Key Vault.
- Understanding of backend integration points, particularly GraphQL, REST APIs, and authentication flows.
- Strong experience with Docker containerization and orchestration, alongside modern CI/CD practices.
- Experience with observability platforms and UI performance optimization techniques.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering teams to translate complex business requirements into intuitive user experiences.
- Provide dashboards, charts, and filtered views for sensor telemetry and alert trends to support end-to-end solution monitoring.
- Develop detailed topology visualization and cross-organization super-admin dashboards.
- Unify gateway management and sensor data experiences so customers can move between fleet operations and troubleshooting in a single workflow.
- Use AI-assisted coworker tools to generate React components, GraphQL queries, and unit tests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reliability, observability, and operational efficiency.
