About The Position

Modern Government Solutions (MGS) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and integrate software solutions in secure on-premises and cloud-based environments supporting national intelligence missions. The role applies C/C++ and Python development expertise to build and integrate mission-critical capabilities across the NRO domain. Regular onsite attendance at the Herndon, Virginia facility is required; remote work is not available. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and may be subject to a government security investigation for access to classified information.

Requirements

• Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field, or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 8 years of experience in software development and integration using C/C++ and Python.
• Experience developing and integrating software in both on-premises and AWS C2E environments.
• Regular onsite attendance at the Herndon, Virginia facility; remote work is not available.
• U.S. citizenship; applicants may be subject to a government security investigation for access to classified information.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• NRO domain experience.
