About The Position
Joining Vellum as an early engineer means playing a significant role in shaping the company's technical and cultural evolution. This position involves tackling complex technical challenges, including prompt chaining, fine-tuning infrastructure, and multimodality. The engineer will be responsible for designing, architecting, and building robust critical infrastructure, owning key backend systems, and defining green-field projects. Collaboration with customers to understand their needs, ensure their success, and own solutions end-to-end is also a key aspect. The role requires serving as a cultural pillar and navigating a fast-moving, competitive landscape.
