About The Position
Premier Global Links LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer – Python/TypeScript to build, scale, and maintain production software for a rapidly growing technology platform. This role offers end-to-end ownership across backend services, full-stack applications, infrastructure, and scalable systems. The ideal candidate has strong computer science fundamentals, excellent coding skills, and experience delivering production software in a high-growth environment.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience; candidates with 6+ years may be considered for exceptional technical backgrounds.
- Strong experience with Python and TypeScript.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Experience building and scaling production software and distributed/scalable systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience working in a high-growth startup or fast-paced technology environment.
- Demonstrated career growth and increasing technical responsibility.
- Ability to work on-site 4 days per week in New York City.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; TN or E-3 visa holders may be considered.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, or Terraform.
- Experience with Go or other modern programming languages.
- Experience scaling systems through significant growth.
- Startup or growth-stage technology experience.
- Fintech or healthcare technology experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend and full-stack services.
- Own features from architecture and technical design through deployment and production support.
- Develop production applications using Python, TypeScript, and modern software technologies.
- Identify and implement scalability, reliability, and infrastructure improvements.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to develop robust technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex technical problems and improve system performance.
- Contribute to architecture, engineering standards, and development best practices.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to a strong engineering culture.
- Participate in technical interviews and help evaluate engineering talent.
