About The Position

GliaCell is seeking a Senior Software Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract. Description: Develop and sustain complex and diverse legacy and new enterprise software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of very large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. Operate in an agile scrum environment, the developer must be able to collaborate and coordinate with direct team members as well as cross functional dependent teams. Develop wholistic solutions with costs and maintenance in mind. Review and test software components for alignment to the architectural design requirements and document test results. Monitor logs and troubleshoot systems via well documented steps and processes for systems that require 24/7 support. The candidate should be able to provide specific guidance to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from the system level to individual software components.

Requirements

  • Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
  • An active Top Secret clearance with polygraph (CI within the last 7 years).
  • Professional/Education experience: 9 years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree, or 7 years of relevant experience with a master's degree.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Works well independently as well as on a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience with AWS tools and services.
  • Must have experience building microservices, API development, Lambda, RDS, Grafana, Promethius, MongoDB, DocumentDB.
