About The Position

Ameriprise Financial, Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer, in Minneapolis, MN Key Responsibilities T o design, code, test, implement, maintain, and support application software in on prem and cloud environments. Work with customers, business analysts, technology cross commits, and project teams to understand business requirements and drive analysis/design of quality technical solutions that are aligned with business/technology strategies and architectural standards. Weekly on-site presence of two days per week and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location #LI_DNI

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, plus 7 years of progressively responsible experience in the following: developing performant/cost-effective solutions using AWS native services, including S3, EMR, EC2, EKS, Athena, and Quicksight; building data models and reusable recipes using Dataiku; performing project delivery and complex data analysis to migrate data from an existing system to another; brokerage and banking business knowledge; end-to-end project delivery using Agile methodology; financial management and production support analysis, design, building, testing, documenting, and deployment.
• Current or expired AWS Solution Architect certification required.
