About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a 6-month contract position with a Global Medical Technology Company in Weston, FL. The role involves developing foundational software components for Robotics and Enabling Technology applications, covering the full software development lifecycle from research and design to implementation, testing, and maintenance of shared components across multiple clinical application architectures.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent and a minimum of 2 or more years of experience.
• Solid background working with C++ and Qt in a Linux environment.
• Experience with Python scripting and automation.
• Knowledge of SQL and SQLite databases.
• Demonstrated experience with managing data architecture, including data models, formats, schemas, and databases.
• Experience working with 3D geometry.
• Proficiency with integrated development environments (IDEs) and build systems with minimal supervision.
• Experience working with revision control systems and following CI/CD development practices.
• Familiarity with unit testing as part of the development workflow.
• Familiarity with data serialization and interchange formats (e.g., JSON).

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CAD modeling and mesh processing.

Responsibilities

• Develop source code for shared data management components that integrate into the architectures of pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative clinical applications.
• Participate in SDLC activities for the components, including code review, documentation, integration, testing, defect management, and code analysis.
• Ensure components are feature complete to meet requirements and/or design specifications.
