About The Position

Lorikeet is redefining customer support with AI that handles complex, high-volume support for various industries. We are backed by significant funding and notable investors, and our customers include major companies in the US and Australia. This role involves building innovative AI-first products, defining UI/UX, capabilities, and data models. You will own hard problems from idea to production, working closely with coding agents, building tooling, and providing engineering judgment. Senior engineers will own features end-to-end, while staff-level candidates can shape technical direction. Our stack includes TypeScript, React/Remix, PrismaORM, NestJS, and Python.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience shipping code at a top-tier engineering organization, ideally with some exposure to startups or scaleups.
• Meaningful experience shipping code at a startup or company with high engineering standards.
• Excited to work with a top-calibre team on genuinely novel AI problems.
• Comfortable working with coding agents as a core part of how you build — not just as autocomplete, but as a real development workflow.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of the stack (TypeScript, React/Remix, PrismaORM, NestJS, Python) is nice.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of hard problems from idea to production.
• Work closely with coding agents as a core part of your workflow.
• Build the tooling and feedback systems that make coding agents effective.
• Apply engineering judgment to determine when output is ready to ship.
• Own features end-to-end (for senior engineers).
• Shape technical direction for the team (for staff-level candidates).
