About The Position

The AD&S Group 5 Simulation team is responsible for developing the simulation capabilities, infrastructure, and analysis tools developers use every day to analyze thousands of hours of autonomous flight time every day before flying software on a real vehicle. We are looking for engineers excited to develop foundational simulation capabilities for current and future Group 5 vehicle programs.

Requirements

• Prior experience in autonomous systems, aerospace, robotics, or other mission-critical domains
• Extensive experience developing simulation tools and infrastructure for leading commercial AV companies
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and understanding of their core services.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with embedded Linux systems development and associated tools.
• Experience troubleshooting and analyzing remotely deployed software systems.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (like auditd, journald, selinux, Splunk).
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and understanding of their core services.

Responsibilities

• Scaling simulation infrastructure for training ML models / quantifying robotics performance
• Cloud-based ETL pipeline infrastructure (Spark, Flyte, Airflow)
• Automated / generative simulation environments for robotics testing
• Developing Python tooling for simulation infrastructure / orchestration
