About The Position
Our client is a fast-growing, venture-backed AI company transforming the insurance brokerage industry by automating high-friction, manual workflows. Their platform leverages AI to process complex data (including PDFs, emails, and legacy systems) and enables brokerages to operate more efficiently at scale. With strong early traction, multi-million ARR, and deep adoption among enterprise customers, the company is entering a rapid growth phase following a recent Series A raise.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of full-stack software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript (Python is a plus)
- Proven experience building and shipping user-facing products
- Experience working at VC-backed startups (Seed to Series E)
- Strong product mindset with ability to own features end-to-end
- Experience building scalable systems and handling complex data workflows
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience building AI-powered products or automation systems
- Experience working with messy/unstructured data (PDFs, documents, etc.)
- Background in fintech, insurtech, or vertical SaaS
- Strong academic background (top CS programs)
- Experience working in high-growth, product-driven environments
- Experience with browser automation or integration-heavy systems
Responsibilities
- Build and ship full-stack product features across frontend and backend systems
- Develop AI-powered workflows that automate complex, real-world business processes
- Design and scale systems that process large volumes of structured and unstructured data
- Build integrations with legacy systems through browser automation and APIs
- Own product development from 0→1 MVP to scaling (1→10)
- Collaborate closely with customers to understand workflows and incorporate feedback
- Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of production systems
- Balance product, engineering, and business priorities in decision-making
