About The Position

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining the backend systems that safeguard our network across critical pillars like creative moderation, fraud prevention, and privacy compliance. You will architect and deploy backend systems that uphold content policies by enforcing rigorous legal standards through initiatives like Content Deduplication and Tagging. Your efforts will focus on engineering robust tools to detect and mitigate fraudulent activities, thereby bolstering marketplace trust and minimizing the impact of bad actors. Furthermore, you will ensure that game publishers, players, and Unity remain compliant with a rapidly evolving landscape of global privacy regulations. Senior Engineers on this team have the agency to influence the technical direction and team culture. Requirements

Experience in designing low-latency APIs and distributed backend services.
Proficiency in implementing high-quality, scalable code in Golang, TypeScript or Java
Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and Key-Value stores such as Postgres, MongoDB, and Redis.
Experience with streaming platforms and queues like Kafka for batch enrichment.
Strong collaboration and communication skills in a remote-first team environment

Nice To Haves

Experience with AdTech
Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and observability tools (Kubernetes, Ray, etc.)

Responsibilities

Design, implement, test, review and maintain Unity’s Monetization platform, product, and services
Collaborate with other team members to ensure high-quality code delivery
Write high-quality and scalable code that supports the existing and future functionality of the product
Manage and deliver individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
