The Constellation Manager Vehicle Operations & Loads team is focused on managing vehicle operations, security associations, and load activities to ensure reliable and secure mission execution. The Vehicle Manager External Services team is focused on providing integration, simulation, and external service support to enhance vehicle command, telemetry, initialization, and testing capabilities. The selected candidate will maintain alignment with their home functional organization, remaining current on applicable policies, processes, best practices, and lessons learned, and ensuring their consistent application within the program. The Agile Scrum Master is responsible for ensuring the team delivers value and continuously improves. Scrum Masters do this by helping everyone understand Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values. The Scrum Master helps the team by working to remove impediments, as well as owning continuous improvement of processes related to the organization.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of relevant software engineering experience.
  • Experience with Agile metrics such as backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition.
  • Coding experience using Java, C/C++, or similar programming languages.
  • Experience as a Scrum Master or Agile facilitator supporting software development teams.
  • Active and transferable TS/SCI U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  • Flight Dynamics, Network Management (Space Mesh)
  • CSM (Certified Scrum Master) or CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner).
  • Proficiency in object-oriented design.
  • Experience guiding agile teams on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to deliver high quality software.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
  • Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Development, and automated test.
  • Experience with one or more areas of satellite ground system software such as mission management, planning and scheduling, command and telemetry, satellite operations, or flight dynamics models.
  • Experience working within multi-team Agile Release Trains.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD, and mission-critical or aerospace environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum, Kanban, and iterative planning practices.
  • Skilled at removing impediments, driving team focus, and reinforcing Agile discipline.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily execution of the current sprint, maintaining momentum toward sprint goals.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Remove impediments quickly and escalate systemic blockers through the RTE when needed.
  • Promote disciplined Agile practices aligned with program standards and DevSecOps workflows.
  • Partner with the Product Owner to ensure stories are sprint‑ready and sequencing is clear.
  • Foster a high-performing, collaborative team environment focused on predictability and quality.
  • Track team-level metrics, support continuous improvement, and promote a culture of transparency.
  • Coordinate with other Scrum Masters and the RTE to maintain cross-team alignment during PI execution.
