Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and modern development frameworks.
  • Proven expertise building and scaling Node.js backend applications and APIs.
  • Solid background developing modern applications using React and/or React Native.
  • Experience designing and supporting scalable system integrations and distributed architectures.
  • You're comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy and ownership.
  • You enjoy startup environments where priorities can evolve quickly and execution matters.
  • You have a builder's mindset and like creating elegant solutions to real-world business problems.
  • You can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You take a practical, customer-first approach to product development.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with GraphQL is highly desirable.
  • Experience in the building materials, construction, or LBM (Lumber & Building Materials) industry is an asset, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and deploy scalable features across our web and mobile platforms.
  • Take ownership of complex technical initiatives from concept through production.
  • Develop and improve customer integrations, helping reduce onboarding time and streamline implementation.
  • Partner with product, operations, and leadership teams to ensure technical decisions align with business goals.
  • Work directly with customers and technology partners when needed to scope and deliver custom integrations.
  • Leverage modern AI and LLM-based development tools to increase productivity and accelerate delivery.
  • Continuously improve platform reliability, performance, and observability.
  • Contribute to a culture of engineering excellence by sharing knowledge, mentoring teammates, and promoting best practices.
