About The Position

The Core Objects team owns the foundational data structures that power Braze’s customer engagement platform. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will help extend and build Core Objects systems and features, including work on high-scale ingestion pipelines for new and advanced data objects, performance and cost optimization, and complex backend systems that support Braze’s product offering. The team uses AI tools throughout product delivery to explore its Ruby monolith, develop proofs of concept, and move efficiently from requests to working solutions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of full-stack development experience.
• Experienced technical leader.
• Strong understanding of design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience working in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Professional experience building software at scale.
• Professional experience with one or more of Ruby, Ruby on Rails, React, Go, SQL, NoSQL databases, distributed systems, or API design, monitoring, and best practices.
• Experience with agile processes.
• Passion for customer experience.
