As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll spend your days translating requirements into solutions, writing code, collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing us with the insights necessary to think beyond the status quo. You’ll oversee small project teams consisting of other engineers who will look to you as a trusted advisor, a subject matter expert who provides guidance and the right tools to get the job done. As a member of the of the Engineering group, you’ll be responsible for evaluating large amounts of data as part of the ongoing effort to optimize processes and delivery protocols. You’ll operate as a trusted advisor as it relates to efficiencies and best practices. As a senior member of the team, you’ll be able to say that you work for the world’s largest retailer and contribute to the development to best-in-class methodologies that impacted perception and drastically changed business as we know it.

Requirements

Development tools: Eclipse, Spring STS, JetBrains, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Grunt, SVN, TFS, Tomcat, Weblogic, etc.
Programming: Java, Spring Framework, JPA/Hibernate framework, C/C++, NodeJS, Python
Cloud experience: Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, microservices architectures (REST), event-based architecture (JMS, Kafka, Active MQ, etc.), stream technologies (Storm, Spark, etc.).
Design and maintain robust data pipelines to support ETL processes, ensuring reliable data transformation and delivery across platforms.
Databases: relational (Maria, MySQL, SQL Server, DB2, Informix), NoSQL document storage (Cosmos, Mongo, etc.)
Demonstrated expertise in architecting and deploying test automation solutions at scale.
Apply system design principles to architect resilient, high-performance solutions, and contribute to generative AI and agent-based systems that enhance automation and intelligence in software delivery.
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
Option 2: 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related field

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
