About The Position
SeatGeek is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack - FanX AI to join their team. This role will focus on ensuring SeatGeek.com is fast, reliable, and delivering joy to fans, with a specific emphasis on AI-powered features. The engineer will collaborate with the design team and product managers to bring ideas to life, mentor web engineers, and contribute to the front-end tech strategy with a focus on generative AI.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend software engineering, having led product initiatives end-to-end in recent years, preferably with user-facing AI
- Exceptional grasp of TypeScript/JavaScript, keeping up with the latest spec and using new features. Familiarity with at least one modern framework and client-side rendering technique.
- UI & Product Instincts: Having opinions on how a web page should look and feel, caring about user experience nuances, and aiming to build inclusive and accessible experiences.
- Architecture and Performance optimization: Comfort going deeper into the stack to untangle caching inefficiencies, troubleshoot distributed systems, and use monitors and testing to assess changes. Ability to architect for performance and maintainability.
- Adaptability: Comfort working full stack in Python when needed. Some experience with design tools like Figma or Sketch is a plus.

- Mentor and grow web engineers across the organization as you remain on the cutting edge of AI feature development and tool use
- Contribute to increasing the maturity of our front end tech strategy and stack with a focus on generative AI
