This is an exceptional, high-impact opportunity to help bring Greenlight's core product functionality to the web. As part of a horizontal platform team, you'll build and evolve the foundational systems that power web experiences across the organization, partnering with product and engineering teams to enable scalable, high-quality development. In addition to contributing across our frontend and backend services, you'll provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and help drive engineering excellence across the platform.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 7+ years of software development experience with a track record of technical leadership
  • Deep expertise in React/Next.js/Remix
  • Strong experience building REST APIs and backend services with Node.js/TypeScript/Kotlin
  • Experience with modern build tools, testing, and CI/CD.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with A/B testing/experimentation and modern MarTech tools (Segment, Optimizely, Mixpanel, Amplitude).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of groundbreaking web experiences, translating mobile features to the web with world-class UX.
  • Drive technical strategy, define engineering standards/best practices, mentor engineers, and establish the technical vision for the web platform.
  • Manage technical debt, champion code quality, and lead architectural evolution.
  • Design, modify, and develop backend services that power web products, ensuring systems scale and championing system reliability, performance, and observability.
